Early xmas present...
 

I ordered a few big handfuls of those 2006 w silver dollars even though they were sold out, and back ordered WAY BACK WHEN.....$19.00 a pop.

Fed Ex brought them today, I was stunned!!! I had actually forgotten ordering them.
I see them on Greedbay bringing 50-60 a whack!!! Off to the safe deposit box they go!!!

Not too sure, but they're rarer than the 1996 SAE and the other coveted mid-90s ones. I've watched the prices shoot up on NGC/PCGS PR69 and PR70s in the last couple of months, from $50 and now some people are getting $100-110 with $70-80 median being most common.


If you get yours graded, I'd go PCGS on this one.. probably sell for $120 in PR69 a year from now.

And when they say you cant have silver. Off to the governtment they go. Buy a safe not a Deposit box!!!

Actually, these aren't proofs, so they'd be MS-69 and MS-70. Also, PCGS isn't going to grade ANY MS-70, until the Mint resolves the white spotting issue, so PCGS MS-69 is the highest you can get. They'll go much higher than $120 a year from now, especially if you can get a PCGS MS-69 or NGC MS-70.

Edit: Also, the rare SAEs in the mid 90s were proofs...and two or three of the years were a little more rare than these 2006 W Unc.
